🏛️ New Assistant City Manager Welcomed
The City of Albemarle has officially introduced Zach Ollis as its new Assistant City Manager.
City Manager Darren Rhodes praised the hire:
“Zach has been a town manager in three municipalities, successful at every point in his career. He’s a proven leader and the perfect fit for our team.”
Ollis, who brings over a decade of municipal experience, expressed his excitement:
“I first worked in this area as an intern in Troy about 11 years ago and fell in love with it. I believe Albemarle is a place where I can both contribute and learn for many years to come.”
📚 County & School Boards to Meet
The Stanly County Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Jean McIntyre meeting room in Stanly Commons, Albemarle.
- Purpose: To discuss several needs-based facilities grant applications for Stanly County Schools.
- Location: 1000 North First Street.
